SEE the new campaign for Vlisco showcases a variety of eye-catching designs that blend together in beautiful harmony. It’s fitting that the final campaign of the year pays tribute to the precious bond between mothers and their grown-up daughters. This season’s designs flow with beautiful illusions full of depth and perspective this was also the starting point of the photography concept. The more you look, the more you discover.
For the exhibition ‘Ode to Dutch Fashion’ I photographed 76 historical designs in typically Dutch settings. The exhibition and accompanying catalogue featured over a hundred creations from the past century of Dutch Fashion design in different areas. In collaboration with art director Maarten Spruyt I developed a photography concept for each style and period. The exhibition is on view until February 7th 2016 at Gemeente Museum Den Haag.
For generations, African women have worn expressive Vlisco designs to speak their thoughts and share their feelings – without saying a word. The TELL collection celebrates this cherished tradition, passed on from mother to daughter. Each new design offers a sparkling and sophisticated voice for today’s unforgettable stories. In collaboration with Vlisco I developed a concept in which the set design was inspired this specific elements in their designs.

To celebrate the 40 years existence of shopping Centre Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht a three months long exhibition was launched.
I was commissioned by Wink in collaboration with Andbeyond studios to shoot a series fashion images with four different themes.
Stylist Marleen de Jong used exclusively items from the shopping mall for the styling. The pictures were displayed hanging above the exhibition pavilion that showcased pieces from dutch fashion designers. photo: Dennis Bouman@wink
